I started my interest in exercise as young boy after watching Arnold Schwarzenegger and other bodybuilders and athletes of the late 1970's. I was intreagred by what you could develop with some hard work.
At the age of ten, I asked my father to buy some weights. That old set of sand-filled DP dumbells started a lifelong learning process that has lead him to his current position.
In 2002 I professionally entered the industry at a university where he started as an Athletic Trainer. In 2005 I developed the Strength and Conditioning Department from scratch and is an integral part of the success in the programs that work with him. Following a fundamental movement pattern training style his training focuses on movements that bring about measurable changes in performance standards, and a possible reduction in non contact injuries. As a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach Emetrius, he has performed many “Coaching Performance” clinics under the NSCA, which help teach coaches how to develop and administer a successful strength and conditioning program. I have spoken at conferences; 2011 New England American College of Sports Medicine topic “Testing and Training the Elite Athlete”, the 2012 Rhode Island APPHRED state conference “Advanced Athletic Testing for School Health Programs, and the RI NSCA state conference on “The uses of Periodization in Training”.
